It is my understanding that the Chief of Police is not required to attend a police training academy, is this true?? I believe that many of the posters on the board would have knowledge as to whether this is fact or fiction. I hope to hear that I have an incorrect understanding. But if it is a fact, then my next question is WHY? This topic is to help myself and others that do not understand the position of Chief of Police. Any help would be appreciated.
