Probably opening a can of worms, but as a churchgoer and a believer of the separation of church and state, how can a public school sponsored cross country event that was held in your area have the students praying outloud as a group, the "Lord's Prayer" before they were allowed to race? Shouldn't it have been a moment of silence to respect the other religions that may have been present? Shouldn't the student's that wanted to pray do it quietly on their own?
