Remembering Jeff Cozart

February 7, 2018
Wetzel Chronicle

We were shocked and deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Jeff Cozart this past weekend.

For those who did not have the pleasure of knowing Cozart, he was a Uniontown, Pa. resident, who formerly lived in Wileyville. He never forgot his Hundred-area roots.

And when reflecting on his service to his community, it is hard to know where to begin. For one, he leaves behind a first-response family from his service as a medic.

He also had a passion for photography. He was responsible for taking many senior portraits, and he was enthusiastic about capturing local sporting events, such as those at Hundred High School. We shared his photos many times, including photos he captured at Hundred's Old Fashioned Christmas celebration and Hundred's annual Fourth of July celebration. Cozart was a pleasure to work with, and he truly loved his community.

His absence leaves behind broken-hearts, and our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. May memories, and his community-minded legacy of service, be a comfort in the days to come.
