To the Editor:

Some food for thought: Could this be the same food that was on the menu yesterday?

While I was watching a documentary the other day, it mentioned the Operation Northwood, and the thought struck me how much like 9-11 it was, with just a few minor adjustments. Such as instead of Cuba, it was the U.S. cities of New York City and Washington, D.C. Instead of Cuban terrorists, it was Arab, and instead of Castro, it was Bin Laden. Otherwise the story was the same, and the results were as anticipated. The people would demand that our military take revenge for such a dastardly act.

Which leaves this old conspiracy nut with some questions after the dust has settled from the Twin Towers, such as, could Bin Laden have been another Oswald? Bin Laden denied the act. If, and I emphasize the word "if," he were guilty, wouldn't that have defeated his purpose for the attack? Our CIA couldn't find Bin Laden, but an English reporter had no problem. If our CIA is so incompetent, maybe we should do away with our CIA and hire the British reporter.

I know that many of you might say, with an operation that big, surely someone would have blabbed. But, look at it this way, just how many of the workers at Area 51 have said anything about what goes on there? The only thing we know is what the government wants us to know, and is very little. Or, what about the Manhatten Project? We never heard anything about it until after the A-bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Believe it or not, but there are many people who can keep a secret, and the government knows how to find them. I believe that nothing happens by chance, and 9-11 is no exception. There were reasons, and the big reason was money. The other reason shouldn't be that hard to figure out.

Well, enough for now. This old malcontent will sign off, and throw another log on the fire. This global warming is freezing.
