However, despite losing a productive player for the rest of the game, the Lumberjacks used it to fuel their motors and tallied four touchdowns in the second period.

Tyler Kocher would score the team's first touchdown with a one yard plunge for a score, while Peyton Bassett returned a fumble 28 yards for their second score. Travis Leek scored the 'Jacks fourth touchdown in the second period with a sensational 49-yard run, while Bassett kicked the last pair Valley PATs in the second quarter.

Gavin Streets ran six times, picking up 71 yards and a touchdown, while Leek added 49 yards and a touchdown. Bassett scored on his only carry from one yard out and kicked three conversion PAT kicks. Valley didn't complete a pass in six tries. They moved the chains 11 times, to only four for the Wildcats. However, the Wildcats didn't have a penalty all game, while the Lumberjacks were caught nine times for 89-yards. Valley also lost two fumbles, while the 'Cats lost three fumbles, and had three interceptions.

"I'm proud of the way the kids battled week and week out this season. They came to practice every day with one goal in mind, and that was to get better every day," said VHS Head Coach Logan Miller. "Although our team goal was to make the playoffs, having a winning record at 6-4 is something to be proud of. We will look to build off this years success and continue to get better for next season."

Defensively, Travis Leek made seven tackles, including a sack, while Austin Lowe, Jordan Williams, Peyton Bassett, Gavin Streets, Ethan Fluharty and George Brown each recorded five tackles.
