Ritchie fought back with the help of three long-distance three-balls to close the gap to single digits, but Williamson tallied nine points in the period, while Frunner and Nick Priem each chipped in four points to bump their advantage back up to over 20 points, before the Running Rebels scored the game's final seven points to make the final score 71-58.

Herrick paced the Big Blue with 20 markers, while Williamson contributed 19 points, and Parsons added a season-high 16 points. Fruner chipped in nine points, while Priem sank two baskets and Smith finished the Blue Eagle scoring with a long triple.

The trio of Chase Sullivan, Travis Pickering and Ryan Morton tallied 42 of the Rebels' 58 points, that included each one dialing up a long-distance bonus bomb in the final period of action.
