Dr. and Mrs. Cory George Wonderly

Shana Yvonne Swan and Dr. Cory George Wonderly were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 26, 2013, at Marietta First Presbyterian Church, Marietta (Ohio), with Pastor Rick Smith officiating the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Teresa Swan of New Matamoras. She is the granddaughter of the late Bob and Pat Creighton of New Matamoras and the late Kurt and Helen Swan of New Cumberland, W.Va.

The groom is the son of Fred and Tammy Wonderly of Wilcox, Pa. He is the grandson of Sandra Burgeson and the late Robert Burgeson, Janice Wonderly, and the late Fred Wonderly, Sr., and the great-grandson of Evelyn Newell.

Sara Frashure, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor and Greg Wonderly, brother of the groom, served as best man.

The bridal party included Lydia Powell, Lindsey Powell, Kayla Higgins, Alyssa Ligato, Eric Wonderly, John Marshall, Tim Boults, and Drew Lehman.

Kyra Nolan, cousin of the bride, and Eden Cobaugh, cousin of the groom, served as flower girls.

A reception was held at The Marietta Shrine Club in Marietta, Ohio.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of River High School, Hannibal, a 2009 graduate of Mount Aloysius College, Cresson, Pa., with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science, and a 2010 graduate of St. Francis University, with a Master of Occupational Therapy degree. She is currently employed at Weirton Medical Center as an occupational therapist in Weirton, W.Va.

The groom is a 2005 graduate of Johnsonburg High School, Johnsonburg, Pa., a 2009 graduate of Mount Aloysius College, Cresson, Pa., with a Bachelor of Science in General Science, and a 2011 graduate of New York Chiropractic College, Seneca Falls, N.Y., with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He is currently the owner of Wonderly Chiropractic in Pittsburgh, Pa.

After a honeymoon to Can Cun, Mexico, the couple is residing in Pittsburgh, Pa.
