To the Editor:

A benefit spaghetti dinner was held on Jan. 5 at the Paden City Boosters Barker Complex for the family of the late Rod Smith. Friends and family would like to thank everyone that helped with the benefit-the people that fixed desserts and the dinner and the servers and those who helped with the raffle and collected. It was a success for the Smith family.

We want to thank Matt Ferrebee and the Paden City Boosters for use of the Barker Complex. Thanks to Jacob Bucy as well as Tommy and TG Gray for the entertainment of music. It was great.

We want to thank all the business that donated: Wayside Furniture, Quinet's Court Restaurant, Barth's Florist, Valley Cinema 3, Slug's Tattoos, Hollywood Nails, Fiesta Salon, S & S Jewelry, Hair Salon at Wal-Mart, Subway in Wal-Mart, New Martinsville Wendy's, New Martinsville McDonald's, Boggs Pizza in Middlebourne, Cabela's, Studio C, Head Quarters Family Hair Care in New Martinsville, Radio Shack, Pizza Hut in New Martinsville, Auto Zone in New Martinsville, Family Hair Care, Bruce Bowling Lanes, Save-A-Lot, Witschey's, Hodge Podge, Occasions, Tin Ceiling, Philips Hallmark in Marietta, Ohio, Burger King, Sunoco in New Martinsville, Carter Lumber, Dog Palace in Paden City, Franklin and Ramona Trader, Marsha Wildman, Sue Stackpole, Tractor Supply, Chaplain's Hardware in Paden City, Ace Hardware, Susie's Crafts, Mead's Barber Shop, Mensore Distributing, Making Miracles Happen in Sistersville, King's Corner in Sistersville, Pasco's Pizza, Riggenbach Tile and Carpet, Off the Wall, Flower Basket, Gold Diggers, Wal-Mart, Marv's Place in Sardis, Wise's in Pine Grove, Methodist Church in Paden City, and Presbyterian Church in Sistersville.

Thank you and God bless,

Friends and family of the late Rod Smith
