Eagles Beat Tyler; Tie Hawks

By Staff | Oct 23, 2013

After beating Tyler Consolidated 1-0 on a goal by Oscar Celedon last week, the Eagles would take on a very good South Harrison team Oct. 15 at the Eagles Hydro Field and tied the Hawks 5-4, despite four goals by Oscar Celedon.

For the first 35 minutes of the match, Magnolia’s Alex Anderson would tally the first goal. But, the Hawks would counter with one of their own before the break to even the score at one.

Both teams scored four times in the second half with the Big Blue’s Celedon smacking all four of their goals to end the game ending in a tie at five all.

The Eagles’ Frankie Grilli made double-digit saves.
