A highlight of Paden City's Fall Festival on Saturday in Paden City is sure to be the tasty food sold by local organizations. Whether partaking in the various activities or perusing the various crafts and items for sale, festival-goers will surely be enjoying one of the many tasty items available.
"The Happy Timers" Senior Citizens of Paden City will be serving hot dogs with sauce, drinks, and desserts, while the Paden City Garden Club will have apple pie by the slide, warm apple cider, and other baked goods.
The Paden City Volunteer Fire Company will have their food trailer at the festival and will be offering their famous funnel cakes, corn dogs, popcorn, sno cones, pizza, and coffee.

The Paden City Museum, along with the foundation, will have pulled pork sandwiches and drinks.
Also, the American Legion Ladies' Auxiliary Post #86 will be serving homemade vegetable soup and chicken noodle soup.
Other vendors serving good things to eat will be Linda K's Bakery Shop with various kinds of baked goods. The Home Plate Bistro will be grilling angus hamburgers, homemade sausage, and will be serving brisket subs as well.
Furthermore, a fall festival just isn't complete without plenty of apple butter. Apple butter stirring will be going on most of the day, so come by and taste some, and perhaps take a pint home with you for $3. Come see the mayor stir the apple butter. Be sure to stop by and "take a turn." Last year they fought over who could stir.
Also, don't forget the entertainment set for this year's fall fest. Bring and chair and stick around for the following entertainment:
2:00-2:45 p.m, Pete Lauderman and his karaoke music. Pete is a local performer with a soft mellow sound and has lots of experience singing for Music in the Park series
2:45-3:30 p.m., Doug Stewart will be playing 50's music to go along with the Cruise-In car show.
3:45-4:45 p.m., Replay Band. This is a great little band that has performed many times for the Music in the Park series and has a great sound.
4:45-5:00 p.m., People's Choice Award Trophy will be presented along with second and third place winners. Raffle winners will be announced as well.
5;00-6:00 p.m., Robbie Goontz, country western singer, who has performed in Europe and has also performed at the Paden City Music in the Park.
6:00-7:00 p.m., Kaydon Hardman from Wheeling, W.Va. She won the Fox Entertainment Talent Show and sings in a band. She performed at the Labor Day Celebration. Kaydon has an amazing voice and tremendous range in her voice.
7:00-8:00 p.m., Robby Parsons and Anthony Riley will take the stage to perform a series of songs sure to please the crowd. Robby is the nephew to the late Mike Parsons. Anthony Riley has formed a band in which Robby is a member. This band, The Anthony Riley Band, can be viewed on YouTube.
The Paden City Fall Festival is sure to have something for "kids" of all ages", so come enjoy the day. You will see unbelievable crafts by local craftsmen and many items that you will be familiar with such as ThirtyOne, Scentsy, candles, Scarf Design, beads, cards, a 50/50 by the Lion's Club, and embroidery. Other vendors represented will be Two Crazy Ladies with homemade crafts, Miles for Smiles Relay for Life team, Paden City Bank Relay for Life team, and the Paden City Public Library with books for sale. The library will also be sponsoring the pumpkin decorating at the park this year.
There will be face painting, click clackers, painting ceramics, and Danny Westfall's "Bubble Wagon" will make an appearance after 4 p.m.
Come on out, stay for the bonfire, bring some marshmallows for roasting and make smores with the folks in your hometown and surrounding areas.
Anyone bringing non-perishable food for the backpack program will receive a ticket for a large cash award to be presented at 5:30 p.m., by sponsor Beri Fox, CEO of American Made Marble King.
