Wetzel County Residents Go ‘Rad’

September 18, 2013
Wetzel Chronicle

Four ladies from Wetzel County joined some 8,000 other runners/walkers participating in the "Color Me Rad Race" in Morgantown Sept. 7 to raise funds for the Rosenbaum House, a facility similar to the Ronald MacDonald House near the WVU Medical Center. This year, runners were adorned with colored corn starch, adding more fun to the event. Not that one would recognize them here, but the runners are, fourth from left, New Martinsville residents Brittany Jackson and Joanna Graham; Jessica Ferrell, who teaches at Hundred High School; and Becky Bennett of New Martinsville. The other runners pictured are from other areas. Graham learned of the race from a fellow employee at New Martinsville's La Pasta Bella, where she works as a waitress while attending Magnolia High School. (Photo provided)
