Coast To Coast Tryout And

Hitting Camp Detailed

Coast to Coast Baseball invites local players ages 10-18 to an upcoming tryout, where Coast to Coast staff will evaluate skills in four areas: hitting, fielding, arm strength, and speed. Players who are accepted to the program may choose to represent the USA in competition in Puerto Rico or work with top college coaches and pro scouts at the organization’s Arizona or Florida Camp and showcase events held at a MLB spring-training complex.

In addition to the tryout, an instructional hitting camp is to help players improve hitting fundamentals as well as their mental approach at the plate. Events will be held at West Virginia State University (college baseball field) July 10 with tryouts at 10 a.m. and hitting camp starting at 2 p.m.

Since the summer of 2001, nearly 3,000 athletes from 46 different states have participated in the Coast to Coast program. The Coast to Coast alumni now compete at every level of collegiate baseball, and even professionally.
