By Staff | Mar 20, 2013

With the first WVU baseball series in Charleston less than two weeks away, single game tickets for the Mountaineers’ 10 regular season home games at Appalachian Power Park are now on sale. Single game tickets are priced at $7 for reserved seats and $5 for general admission when purchased in advance through the West Virginia Power Box Office by calling 304-344-BATS (2287). Tickets are priced at $9 and $7 on game day.

West Virginia’s games at Appalachian Power Park include matchups with Big 12 foes Texas Tech (March 22-24), Oklahoma (May 3-5), TCU (May 10-12) and one non-conference game with Morehead State on Tuesday, April 16. Former Magnolia High?School standout Justin Fox is a starter for the Mountaineers.

“West Virginia baseball is very excited to enter the first season of competition in the Big 12,” said Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Sales Matt Wells. “We’re also excited about the opportunity to play 10 games in a wonderful venue like Appalachian Power Park.

We look forward to bringing WVU baseball to Mountaineer fans in the Charleston area.” The WVU baseball team is under the direction of first-year head coach Randy Mazey. The Mountaineers fell to Kansas State, 4-3, on Saturday in their Big 12 opener.
