MHS?Grapplers Wear Pink In Honor Of Mom

By Staff | Mar 20, 2013

From left in the photo left are Magnolia High School wrestlers Tyler Baker, Jared Wright, and Gage Deem, each wearing a uniform that is different from the one they usually wear. After earning a slot in the state tournaments, the boys got together and wanted to do something special.

Baker’s mom had been diagnosed with cancer and the boys wanted to do something special for her. So, Tonya Jenkins bought the pink wrestling garb and had the lettering and a huge ribbon put on the uniforms to show their solidarity in the fight against cancer and in honor of Mrs. Baker.
