Joe and Donna Ward of Paden City announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Ward, to Jordan Reed, son of Bill and Sherry Reed also of Paden City.
Emily is a 2007 graduate of Paden City High School and a 2011 graduate of West Liberty University with a Bachelor of Arts in General Science Education. She expects to graduate from West Virginia University with a Master of Arts in Reading in August 2013. Emily is employed by Wetzel County Schools as a science teacher at Valley High School.
Jordan is a 2008 graduate of Paden City High School. He expects to graduate in December 2013 with a Bachelor of Applied Technology in Software Engineering from West Virginia University at Parkersburg.
