Jim Lish won his first weekly match play event of the year with a 268-232 decision over Ron O’Neil Jr. in last week’s Ohio Valley weekly bowling championship. He won $60, compliments of Subway and Allen Smith, this week’s sponsors.

Nathan Anderson was the two-game high qualifier with 196, 206 and a 76 handicap for a 478 total.

Lish slipped by Chet Richmond 238-219 in one semifinal, while O’Neil edged Dave Johnson 220-208 in the other semifinal.

Johnson continues to lead the Point List with 555 points, while John Leek Jr. (430), Ron O’Neil Jr. (375), and Bill Pritsch (330) complete the top four. The top 24 bowlers on the Point List qualify for the 35th Annual Ohio Valley Match Play Finale, with the top eight each earning a first round bye.
