December 19, 2012
Wetzel Chronicle

John Leek made it two weeks in a row and four wins this year with a 234-182 verdict over Ryan Lish to claim last week's Ohio Valley weekly bowling championship. He won $60, compliments of Buddy Light Accounting, this week's sponsor. Isner was also the two-game high qualifier with 203, 226 and a 64 handicap for a 493 total.

Leek eliminated Bill Pritsch, 249-211 in one semifinal, while Lish edged Ron O'Neil Jr 209-191 in the other semifinal. Dave Johnson continues to lead the Point List with 480 points, while John Leek Jr (420); Bill Pritsch, (330); and Ron O'Neil Jr. (315) round out the top four. The top 24 bowlers on the point list qualify for the 35th annual Ohio Valley Match Play Grande Finale, with the top eight each earning a first-round bye.

Tournament sponsors are Miller Lite, Capital Beverage and Buddy Light Accounting. The Grand Finale is set for May and features a $1,000 top prize based on entries
