Advanced sale tickets for the Magnolia vs. Wahama Class-A football game on Saturday, Nov. 24, will be available at Magnolia High School on Wednesday and Friday from 11 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. each day.

Advanced sale prices are $5 for students and $7 for adults. All tickets at the gate are $7 and only WVSSAC passes will be honored. Gates will open Saturday at 11:30 a.m. For more information, call MHS at 304-455-1990, Option 1.


Sonny Price of New Martinsville made a hole in one at Riverside Golf Course on Nov. 8. The feat was accomplished on Hole Number Four, a 154-yard par three. He used a five iron and his witnesses were Dave Farley, Bruce Sivert, and John Boggs.


The Martins Ferry Basketball Parents will once again be sponsoring a youth basketball shootout the weekend of March 1-3, for fifth and sixth grade boys and girls teams. All teams will be guaranteed three games, with a possibility of a fourth game, depending on the number of teams.

The Moundsville Rifle and Pistol Club will hold an Open House and Membership Drive Saturday, Dec. 1, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.. This will be held at the clubhouse on 12th Street in Moundsville, next to the regional jail.

The public is invited to tour and try out the club's eight-lane, 50-foot indoor range and learn the history of the club and the building. Visitors may being a handgun or use one from the club. Ear and eye protection is required. For more information call 304-845-4008.
