Sign Gives B&O History

November 7, 2012
Wetzel Chronicle

Hundred Area PRIDE and the West Virginia Department of Transportation recently installed an informational sign along the Rails to Trails in Hundred. Located at the site of the old Hundred Train Station, the sign has interesting facts about the B&O connection in the area. It includes how the train conductors in the 1850's would point out "Old Hundred", Henry Church, as the train passed by the town's namesake.

PRIDE encourages all to stop by the sign near the intersection of routes 250 and 69 and take the time to read some local history. They are sure all who do will find it interesting.
