From Warren Wade

Wetzel Chronicle

First of all, I have to thank a lot of my fellow inmates for the material I use in these letters, as a lot of this stuff is new to me.

I'm sure some of them get tired of me preaching to them, asking question after question, but they never say so. Some seem more than willing to help and answer any question I may have.

I really don't understood how a lot of the guys I've talked to become addicted to drugs and/or alcohol, as most of them seem quite intelligent to me. But then, when I do ask how they became addicted, it's almost always the same answer: "Peer pressure. My buddies were doing it and talked me into it," or, "It looked like they were having a good time." They forget to tell you the consequences of its long-term effects, didn't they?

Those people are not friends. Their lives are so messed up, they believe it only fitting to make your life as miserable as theirs. Have they told you how sick you're gonna be when you come off of this junk? Probably not.

And now, it's not only drugs that people are getting addicted to, but plant food and incense are high on the list.

Who are the guinea pigs trying this stuff to find out if it can get them high? It says on the package: not for human consumption.

Whoever thought people would actually go to jail or die from plant food or incense? It guess it's really happening.

"Bath salts," it's intended purpose is plant food, but people are actually shooting it up, snorting it, and smoking it to get high.

"K2," it's intended purpose is an incense, but people are smoking it to get high.

Who dreamed that a plant food or incense, could take everything you have, including your freedom, or your life? It's happening on a daily basis.

To get high from something that was intended for plants or to make a room smell good. . .That just amazes me that someone would even put that in their body. But they are: sad, but true.

Chase your dreams. Not drugs, plant food, or incense.

Sincerely

Warren Wade
