Johnson Wins Match Play

Dave Johnson defeated Dud Snider - three-time past champion - 221-193 to win his second consecutive weekly championship. He won $50, compliments of Buddy Light Accounting, this week's sponsor. Johnson was also the two-game high qualifier with 214-240 games and a 16 handicap for a 470 total.

Johnson ousted Christina Hull, 216-179 in one semifinal, while Snider eliminated Ron O'Neil Jr. 203-175 in the other semifinal. Johnson is the early-season leader of the Point List with 200 points, while Dave Hull is second with 85 points.

The weekly match play event now switches back to its normal Thursday in the 9:30 p.m. slot. The Grand Finale is slated for May, 2013, with $1,000 to the champion, based on entries going to the championship.
