NM?Parks Fall Soccer
The New Martinsville Parks and Recreation Commission is offering a youth soccer league open to boys and girls ages five to 10. The season begins Sept. 16 and continues each Sunday through Oct. 21.
The time for the 5-7 year olds is 2-3 p.m. and the time for the 8-10 year olds is 2:30-3:30 p.m.
During the first half hour there will be practice and the second half hour there will be a game each week. Children must be five years old before Dec. 31, 2012, to participate.
Applications are available at the NM City Building. The cost is $20 per child or $30 per family until Friday, Sept. 7, before 4:30 p.m. After that date, the cost increases by $10 for individuals and families.

PCHS?Meet The Team
PCHS will hold its annual Meet The Team and Ice Cream Social Aug. 23 at Berger Field. The Ice Cream social starts at 6 p.m., while you can meet the teams at 7 p.m.
You can also buy PCHS season passes for $100 for adults and $50 for students. You can also get your passes at the PCHS main office during school hours.
