When a new high school sports season begins, particularly king football, the key phrase might be "offense", "defense", or "unity". But this year we think that word might just be "flexibility". With the storm on June 29 wreaking so much havoc across the area and particularly at a couple area football fields, we're all going to have to be a bit flexible this season.

Add to that the fact that River High?School is undergoing major renovations, rendering their field unusable; they will use Magnolia High?School's facility. While it may not be track season, there are certainly some hurdles to overcome. But when teams, both those with and without uniforms, work together, it can indeed work.
