Bob Phillips of New Martinsville announces the engagement of his daughter, Meghan Brooke Phillips, to Nolan David Mullins, son of James M. Mullins Sr. and Loretta Mullins of Lebanon, Va.
The future bride was a co-valedictorian of the Magnolia High School class of 2002. She graduated summa cum laude with a BS in History, as well as minors in Psychology, Education, and Leadership, from Fairmont State University in 2006, where she was also a member of the Honors Program. She then graduated Order of the Coif from West Virginia University College of Law in 2009. Upon completing the bar exam, she began her employment at the National Labor Relations Board in Washington, D.C., where she was a General Counsel's Honors Program attorney. She is currently an attorney in the agency's Division of Advice, Regional Advice Branch.
The future groom is a 2003 graduate of Logan High School. He attended Marshall University where he obtained his BBA degrees in Accounting and Finance. He is currently employed as an accountant for a property management group in the Washington, D.C., area.
