The question is why gas prices in New Martinsville are out of sync with the national average? A couple of weeks ago my wife and I traveled to Florida and returned through the states of Georgia, South Carolina, and Virginia.
In all cases the price of gas was 10 to 24 cents less than the prices in New Martinsville. Comparing the prices in our town, all the gas stations had similar prices which are 10 to 12 cents higher than surrounding areas. Why must the price gouging continue to penalize the citizens of Wetzel County? Would a gas boycott be called for?
