Board Approves Various Personnel Changes

The following retirements, resignations, and employment changes were approved at Monday night's meeting of the Wetzel County Board of Education.

Retirements

Terrell Lee Jackson, retirement from position as Social Studies Teacher at Magnolia High School, effective June 30.

April S. Stolfer, retirement from position as 7-8 Math Teacher at New Martinsville School, effective June 29.

Resignations

Jeanne L. Fox, resignation from position as 7-8 Head Girls' Volleyball Coach at Paden City High School, effective immediately.

Linda T. Kirk, resignation from position as Countywide Substitute Teacher, effective immediately.

Employment and/or Changes in Employment

Professional Personnel

Todd E. Barcus, approval for change in assignment from Countywide Attendance Director/Student Support Services/At-Risk Programs Coordinator, 240-day contract, based at the County Office to Countywide Attendance Director/Student Support Services/At-Risk Programs/WVEIS Coordinator, 261-day contract based at the County Office, effective July 1.

Jennifer L. Eller, approval for change in assignment from the Reduction-In-Force/Preferred Recall List to Title I Teacher at Short Line School, effective the beginning of the 2012-2013 school year.

Jessica N. Ferrell, approval for employment as Art Teacher at Hundred High School and Long Drain School, effective the beginning of the 2012-2013 school year.

Alissa R. Kirkbride, approval for employment as Mathematics Teacher at Paden City High School, effective the beginning of the 2012-2013 school year.

Kimberly L. Nelson, approval for change in assignment from the Reduction-In-Force / Preferred Recall List to Grade Five Teacher at Long Drain School, effective the beginning of the 2012-2013 school year.

Brenda K. Brookover, approval for change in assignment from half-time Secretary II/Computer Operator (536/E) 220-day contract at New Martinsville School to half-time Coordinator of Accounts Receivable/Account/Computer Operator/Secretary III (521/H) 261-day contract at the County Office and will retain Half-time status as Secretary III/Computer Operator (537/F), 230-day contract at the County Office, effective July 1.

Nathan K. West, approval for employment as Countywide/Itinerant (male) Supervisory Teacher Aide/Autism Mentor, effective the beginning of the 2012-2013 school year.
