Jesse Ault was a 1998 Tyler Consolidated High School graduate, and spent some of his years in the Short Line area.
His mother is Virginia "Ginny" Billiter, who lives in Paden City.
Ault joined the US Army and became a member of the 82nd Airborne. After finishing active duty, he enlisted in the National Guard, and during that time he served our country in Operation Iraqi Freedom on two separate tours. He didn't return home from his second tour of duty and was lost to a roadside bomb in Tunnis, Iraq on April 9, 2008.
This event is much more than just a golf scramble, but a chance to remember Ault and benefit the Jesse Ault Memorial Scholarship Fund.
