This has been bothering me for the last few days. I have been supporting a candidate for the upcoming Wetzel County elections and have been finding that some of their signs have been coming up missing. These signs are not cheap for these candidates, we as the citizens have no right to be removing these signs from their locations.
Not only is it considered vandalism to remove or destroy a political sign, but also if caught in the act a fine and possible prosecution can occur. It is a battle of the candidates, not the citizens! So please if a sign is accidentally placed on your property, please contact the candidates and I am sure they can be removed.
