From Rae Stuart and the Field of Flags Committee

November 30, 2011
Wetzel Chronicle

The Field of Flags rests in Sommers, Conn. The flags will remain indoors for the winter to keep them out of the weather. New flags will come out in the early spring to once again call us to prayer for the soldiers, their families, and their friends.

There have been six more U.S. casualties in Afghanistan and Iraq this week as reported by the Defense Department. The total of fallen heroes in Iraq and Afghanistan stands at 6,319 as of Nov. 25.
