Jack and Kris were high school sweethearts, where they graduated from Hundred High School. After marrying, the Yosts moved to Weirton, where Mr. Yost worked at Weirton Steel for 39 years.
Jack is the son of Maxine Yost of Follansbee and the late Jack Yost Sr. Kris is the daughter of Myrle Littell of Wellsburg and the late Rex Littell.
Their children are Jack III (Jay) of Moundsville, Alicia of Wellsburg, and Ryan of Columbiana, Ohio. Their grandchildren are Brittany, Nicholas, and Sophia, all of Wellsburg.
Jack is the West Virginia State Senator of the First District.
