Our sports reporter Bruce Crawford went to Town and Country Days to get photographs of the senator in action and saw an interesting exchange. It seems that at least one of our county’s youth made some sort of snide remark just after Manchin passed by. The senator took a couple steps, stopped, turned on his heels, and went back to speak to the youth and some others gathered together about respect. You go Joe!
