Snyders Will Mark 60th Anniversary

Betty and Grandon Snyder of 1728 Pike Road, St. Marys, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Dec. 26. The couple were married in 1950 by the late Rev. L. W. Burton in the sanctuary of the St. Marys United Methodist Church.

They have two daughters: Sue Roth of New Martinsville and Lori Couch of Williamstown; one goddaughter, Caroline Bailey of Belmont; three grandchildren, Ryan Ruth of Charleston, Rachel Herrick of New Martinsville, and Adam Couch of Williamstown; and two step-great-grandchildren, Austin and Millenia Owen of Charleston and are expecting a third next summer.

Betty is the daughter of the late Ernest and Dorothy (Hooper) Reynolds, and Grandon is the son of the late Ellsworth S. and Violet (Holler) Snyder.

A reception in their honor hosted by their children will be held Jan. 9 in the chapel of the St. Marys United Methodist Church, 104 Washington Street, from 2-4 p.m. No gifts, but cards would be appreciated.
