Winland, Morgan

July 1, 2009
Wetzel Chronicle

Dee Winland of Sistersville and Ack Morgan of New Martinsville were united in marriage June 21 at the Wetzel County 4-H Camp. The ceremony was held outside on a gorgeous wedding stage built by the groom's brother, Kelly Nelsen. The wedding was officiated by Pastor Henry Young of Riverside Baptist Church in Clarington and a five piece brass quintet lead by the bride's son serenaded the couple with classic pieces including Canon in D Major during the bride's entrance.

Following the wedding, a reception was held at the Mollohan Center on the 4-H grounds. Dinner was catered by the New Martinsville United Methodist Church's ladies organization and the flowers and decorations were provided by Occasions of New Martinsville. The cake, a beautiful three-tiered cake decorated with select verses from 1 Corinthians 13 and live flowers, was created by Terri Goddard of New Martinsville.

The bride wore a beautiful floral print satin/chiffon burnout split front A-line gown with beaded neckline and ruched empire bodice with a sweep train and the groom wore a tan summer linen suit.
