A hunter education class will be offered from 6-9:30 p.m. each night at the Mollohan Center on the Wetzel County 4-H grounds March 17-19 and at the Pine Grove Sportsman Club on April 6-8.
Included in the training will be basic gun safety, information about firearms and ammunition, the role of the hunter and hunting in the wildlife management and conservation, hunter responsibility, archery, muzzleloading survival, and the wildlife laws.
Only students 10 years old or older on the date of the test will receive a certification card. Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring social security number.
