CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — A Charleston author has written a children's book about twin boys who are afraid to sleep alone.
The Charleston Daily Mail (http://bit.ly/1cOgRdH) reports Kathryn Brown drew from personal experiences in her book "Sellie and Sam: . . . Won't Sleep in Their Beds."
Brown says at first she was embarrassed to talk to other adults about her own two daughters wanting to snuggle up in their parents' bed. Then she found out other parents were going through the same issue.
Brown says she wanted to bring humor to the issue in the book and explain to parents that it's just a phase that will eventually go away.
The book is distributed by the West Virginia Book Company and is available at the state Culture Center in Charleston and through retailers.
