Sheriffs: W.Va. child-care worker had child porn

PRINCETON, W.Va. (AP) — A Mercer County man who worked with as a child-care provider is facing charges of receiving and possessing child pornography.

The Mercer County Sheriff's Office says 29-year-old Lindsey Bowling of Princeton is scheduled for arraignment Friday in magistrate court.

The Bluefield Daily Telegraph (http://bit.ly/1js9E5p ) reports that detective Cpl. Steven A. Sommers says Bowling was taken into custody Thursday night on multiple counts of possessing child pornography.

A press release from the sheriff's department said Bowling is employed as a child-care worker at a center in Princeton.

Authorities said there is no evidence any of the children under his care were harmed.

Bowling was held until his arraignment at Bluefield Jail.
