CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — U.S. Sen. Joe Manchin's state director is stepping down.
Manchin says Kelley Goes is leaving her job overseeing his Senate offices in the state to join the law firm Jackson Kelly. Manchin says Goes has been his "eyes and ears back home" and his go-to person on issues affecting families and businesses of West Virginia.
Goes also worked for Manchin when he was governor. She served in two positions — state Commerce Secretary and executive director of the West Virginia Development Office.
