ROANOKE, W.Va. (AP) — The West Virginia Golf Association is set to honor its latest hall of fame class.

Huntington's Pat Carter and the late Julius Pollock will be inducted during a banquet Saturday night at Stonewall Resort in Lewis County.

Carter is a 13-time winner of the West Virginia Amateur, trailing only the 15 won by the late Bill Campbell. He's also a multiple winner of the West Virginia Mid-Amateur and Four-Ball championships.

Pollock won the first state amateur tournament in 1913. The Wheeling native captured nine titles overall.

Tickets for the West Virginia Golf Hall of Fame banquet are $50.
