October 31, 2013
Associated Press

PHILIPPI, W.Va. (AP) — Alderson Broaddus University has opened three new residence halls.

Officials held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday on the Philippi campus.

WBOY-TV (http://bit.ly/HxgNVN) reports the dorms have suites and apartments for upper-class students.

The dorms haven't been named yet. For now, they're just being referred to as Blue, Gold, and University Halls.

The private college expanded its on-campus student housing to accommodate rising enrollment.
