Rocker pays homage to US military at WVa show

October 18, 2013
Associated Press

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) — If you're in the military, a free ticket awaits to an upcoming concert in Huntington by shock rocker Alice Cooper.

Starting Friday, military personnel can pick up their free tickets for a concert next Wednesday by Cooper, an early originator of garish stage shows featuring snakes and other frightful props. The Herald Dispatch (http://bit.ly/19bN7qM) reports that tickets can be picked up through the night of the concert at Big Sandy Superstore Arena.

To get the free ticket, show a valid U.S. Military ID.
