CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — The West Virginia Regional Technology Park Corp. has a new executive director and chief executive officer.
Rusty Kruzelock will assume the duties on Nov. 1. His appointment was approved by the Higher Education Policy Commission following an endorsement by the park's directors.
Kruzelock will oversee operations of the multi-tenant research, development and commercialization park in South Charleston. Kruzelock has extensive experience in research and development, most recently as president of a biotechnology company he co-founded.
He says he looks forward to helping bring new companies to the region.
The West Virginia Regional Technology Park is the newest research, education and technology campus in West Virginia's higher education system. The park was donated to the state in 2010 by The Dow Chemical Co. and deeded to the Higher Education Policy Commission.
