6 injured in shooting in Huntington

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) — Huntington police are investigating a shooting at a housing complex that left six people injured.

Lt. John Williams says the shooting occurred around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Williams tells The Herald-Dispatch ( ) that shots were fired during an altercation among a group of people at the Northcott Court complex. Police believe one person fired the shots. But the possibility of a second shooter hasn't been ruled out.

He says all six victims were shot in the lower extremities. None of the injuries are life-threatening.
