Look at the teeth and claws on these CARNIVORES..they are not looking for berries in your neighborhood. Mother bears kill cubs and eat them when they will not depart as yearlings...YouTube has bear eating deer etc. and Wetzel Co had a bounty to kill bears until 1950's. anyone who believes these big animals live on nuts and berries is nuts...Canadian and western US reports of bears killing humans is well documented."My what big teeth you have" if these animals ever learn to hunt in packs we are going to have a bad problem.

Has anyone, and not just at the Chronicle considered that the population is not necessarily rising, but the fact that the drillers are getting farther and farther into the woods. The bears are being forced from their habitat. Thus and increase in sightings, not population. I have seen just about this exact story on WTOV-9 and WTRF-7, and nobody has yet to relate this problem to the Fracking going on in our rural areas.
